This Internet Page is dedicated to Saint David Uribe Velasco,  to his family and to the people of Buenavista de Cuéllar.

To Father David, because such was his love for God, that he decided to give up his life rather than deny Christ;

To his family, who by their deep faith instilled in David, a love for God;

To the people of Buenavista de Cuéllar,  who worked so arduously for the beatification and canonization of Father David.

Prayer

All-powerful and eternal God, who gladdens us with the victory of your holy martyr, Father David Uribe Velasco;  who longed to be anointed with his own blood in defense of the faith and of those souls redeemed by your love, grant us through his merits, victory over our difficulties as we walk towards you, fulfilling your divine Will. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord, Amen.

   It is our hope that the information in this site about the life and the person of  St. David, will inspire you to search out the path to God.
